“I blew it! lol This is an earlier experiment with texture and cobalt sulfate from March. The form was covered with thickly applied white slip that was divided into 6 panels and given patterns/textures with finger markings. I covered with terrasigilatta before bisquing to cone 010. I covered one set of panels with steel wool and ferric chloride and the other with cobalt sulfate. I wrapped the piece in aluminum foil with newspaper, epsom salt, red cabbage, and weed & feed before firing. It was my first and probably last time using red cabbage and weed & and feed because I chuck of my pot just blew out from something... maybe it was the cabbage. haha Nonetheless, I still like it.”
