“I had to fire this one twice to get these results. It was first barrel fired and ended up being covered in so much soot that it was black with some subtle changes. (last photo in group) I did the second firing in an electric kiln to clear up soot and see what transfer onto the form. I'm still using ferric chloride for the reddish blushes, but I decided to test masking tape, copper tape, and coconut fiber with colorants spray fixed onto it as well. I like the results so far, I'm still looking to test more.”
