“I wanted to add more to the surface for this one, so I incorporate sgraffito and the use of mica powder in my terrasigilatta mixes. This form was wheelthrown and given a layer of black under glaze before craving the surface. After a bisque to cone 08, I added the mica/terrasigilatta mix, covered with steel wool, and glazed the inside. Saggar fired to cone 04 with a hand full of sawdust and done.”
